Resort Policies:
The Sterling Sands Condo Association charges a $15 per person User Fee for each guest that is 5 years of age and older. Guests may pre-pay this fee. This fee covers a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and wristbands to access amenities. A link to pre-pay the User Fee will be included with your Welcome Letter which will be emailed to you approximately one week prior to your check-in date.
Maximum Occupancy: Please note that our unit's occupancy limit, including children, adheres to regulations mandated by the State of Florida and its Fire Codes, based on square footage. Exceeding this limit may result in denial of check-in by the HOA, with no refund provided.
Floor Level: This rental is situated on the 8th floor for your convenience.
Guest Entry: Access to the rental is facilitated through an E-lock, requiring a unique code that is reset after each guest's stay.
Age Requirement: Renters must be 25 years or older to reserve this property.
Every guest, 5 and older, must pay the Amenity User Fee of $15.00 + tax

Sterling Sands #809 in Destin, Florida was a well-appointed condo with a beautiful view of the pool, beach, and Gulf. Both the property and the condo were very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed eating meals on our balcony table, but there were also many tables available at the pool and the barbecue area. There were ample restaurants, vacation activities, and shopping all within close proximity to the complex. We also visited the Henderson Beach State Park which was very close to the complex and hiked through the native vegetation on the dunes. Customer service was very friendly to answer questions prior to our stay. They were also helpful to address an issue with an owner who was smoking in the condo below us, which was affecting our balcony experience. We enjoyed this vacation very much! We will recommend it to our family and friends and are planning to return in the future.

Condo was amazing. Clean. Great view from top floor. Beautiful! Balcony perfect seating. Kitchen well equipped. Condo just as was expected from pictures. Had a problem with the TV and office sent someone right away to address and fix. Grounds well kept . Would definitely recommend this unit.

Arrived the day of the hurricane landfall. It hit further down the coast. The room was ready and very nice. All in all a good stay with minor things wrong with the room. I did not appreciate being charged extra for wristbands and a parking space.Those things should come with the room.

We were extremely pleased with the layout and funishings in 809. It was spotless and beautiful. The on-site manager, Elizabeth Love, makes sure everything is top-notch. We will be back!
It’s in the perfect location. You can walk to The Back Porch restaurant which was one of our favorite things. There’s also great very shallow areas right in front of the condo. It was decorated cute and had everything you needed, except scissors. It looked clean when looking around, but I ended up having to wear my shoes through the house because my feet would be black quickly if I didn’t. There were also spill marks like a cup splashed on the door, and baseboards were dirty. The glass on the balcony was also dirty which was a bummer because you want a pretty view while looking at the ocean on the property. Also, beach service is not included. We would stay at this location again but try a different unit.
